Centralized control of all quality management activities

The 630m² Technology Center of the zur Mühlen Group is located in Satrup and the center of our quality assurance and quality management activities throughout the entire group.

Wit the help of our Technology Center all project departments like product development, quality management and quality assurance are working together closely in order to guarantee complete traceability. All products are continuously monitored in the latest analysis rooms and an integrated tasting and sampling center. More than 50.000 laboratory test per year guarantee centred quality standards and unrestricted product safety product safety.

All products are continuously monitored in the latest analysis rooms and an integrated tasting and sampling center. Over 50,000 analyses per year guarantee our highest quality standards and product safety. From receipt of the raw materials to manufacturing and delivery, each articel passes 61 in-house checkpoints. This is how the zur Mühlen Group ensures the high standard of quality and safety of all its products.

Pathogenic monitoring – unique in the meat industry

The Technology Center is equipped with the best technology in fields of microbiology, chemistry, molecular biology, sensor and packaging technology. Furthermore, it is also certified and approved as safety laboratory II for microbiology pursuant to the "Infektionsschutzgesetz" (Infection Protection Law). Therefore, we are one of very few companies in the meat industry that is able to test and detect pathogenic germs in order to make our pathogenic monitoring efficient.
